🚂 Isabel and Friends Day at Amerton Railway! 🚂
Join us on Sunday 7th June 2026 as we venture into the wonderful world of Pauline Hazelwood’s Saddletank books: where our very own engine, Isabel, is the star of her own book! 🌟
Isabel is eager to show off now that her true story has been published for the world to enjoy. Come along and learn all about her origins, how she got her name, her exciting journey starting right here in Stafford, and how she found her forever home with us. You might even hear some tales about the other engines in the stories!
Both Isabel & her friend Lorna Doone will be pulling trains all day! Gordon the Diesel will also be around to say hello, though he is a little lazy, so you might have to look out for him hiding outside the engine sheds!
🎨 Get Creative!
While you’re here, you can design your own Isabel! What colour do you think she’d look best in? A bright red? A pale blue? How about some wacky spirals? Let your imagination run wild!

Time: Trains run from 11:30 until 16:30 following our Steam timetable.
Booking is not required, just turn up and enjoy!
